Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Trading Grit (the "Service"), a trading journal and analytics tool operated by an individual operator based in Japan ("we," "us," or "the Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service lets you record and analyze your own trading activity. Analytics, statistics, and AI-generated reports produced by the Service are not investment advice or a solicitation to trade, and do not guarantee any particular outcome, profit, or trading strategy. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.

2. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and we are not liable for unauthorized use of your account by a third party.

3. Billing (Web)

• The web version offers a 7-day free trial, after which it becomes a $45/month subscription that renews automatically.
• Payment is processed by Stripe via credit card.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of the trial and on each billing date unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• You can cancel at any time from the Service's plan management screen, or by contacting support@tradinggrit.com. You retain access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

4. Billing (iOS App)

• The iOS app offers a free trial followed by a monthly subscription (Pro) billed through In-App Purchase.
• Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID's payment method, at the price shown on the App Store.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it from Settings on your device, or from the "Manage Subscription" option in the app.
• Billing and refund questions for the iOS app must be directed to Apple directly, in accordance with Apple's own terms. We are not able to process refunds for App Store purchases.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• violate any applicable law or public order;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or place undue load on it;
• copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service's source code or data without authorization;
• infringe the rights of other users or third parties; or
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without our authorization.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of trade data displayed or analyzed by the Service, including AI-parsed results.
• Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for trading losses or other damages arising from your use of the Service.
• We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service for maintenance, technical failure, force majeure, or other reasons beyond our control.

7. Intellectual Property

All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the Service belong to us or our licensors. Trade records and chart images you submit remain yours, but you grant us the right to use them to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
